The Fairisle Purse has been designed so that you will learn 3 methods of steeking. At the workshop you will be starting off by knitting a small sample swatch to try steeking before you start knitting the purse. We will be doing three methods of steeking - crochet, machine stitching and needle felting, videos of the three methods will also be available to you via links in the pattern.
Marie and her assistant, Gwynneth, will demonstrate all three steeking methods. There will be two sewing machines available at the weekend as well as needle felting equipment.
We have held this workshop in 2023 and 2024 and was in high demand, so we have decided to hold it again in 2025!
