Prices

As mariewallin.com is a UK website and Marie Wallin Designs Ltd is a UK business all the prices displayed on the website in the UK include UK VAT at 20%. If you are a non UK customer and viewing this website outside the UK, then prices are displayed without UK VAT and this is the price charged at checkout.

Our website will display our prices in the currency of the country where our website is viewed. eg., if you are in the Canada, then the prices displayed on our website will be in CAN Dollars and will not include any tax.

Only UK customers viewing our website in the UK will see prices displayed including 20% VAT.

UK customers

Will pay the stated price on the website, which includes 20% VAT. 

EU customers

We are currently not part of the IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) for EU customers. At checkout you are charged the non VAT price. Therefore all EU orders may be subject to import VAT and/or import duty. These fees are charged prior or on delivery of your order and must be paid in full before your order is delivered. You will normally be contacted and invoiced by the courier. If your order has been sent by Royal Mail then please check your tracking (if applicable) to check the status of the delivery.

US customers

From the 29th August 2025, we are required to charge duty on all orders to the US.

Books are exempt from duty and so no import duty will be payable.

For all yarn and kit orders, a total of 16% will be added to orders. This covers the 10% UK reciprocal duty charge levied on UK goods by the US government and the 6% general tariff which has come into affect after the scrapping of the 'de minimis' threshold. All US customers will see the amount of duty that will be added to the order before continuing to checkout. On completing your order, we will send it via Royal Mail who will pay the duty on your behalf, they then invoice us. This means that orders should be delivered without any delays or extra charges.

Other countries

For all other non UK, non EU and non US customers, you will be charged the non VAT price at checkout and therefore you are responsible to pay any import tax and/or duty either prior or on delivery of your order. You will normally be contacted and invoiced by the courier. If your order has been sent by Royal Mail then please check your tracking (if applicable) to check the status of the delivery.

Shipping & packaging charges

Shipping prices are added at checkout and usually there are options to choose from. The final shipping price includes a warehouse packing charge.

Adding an extra items to your order

We will try and accommodate any forgotten items. However, if the packing team are already working on your order, then we are unable to do so. Please email info@mariewallin.com as soon as possible with your order number and we will do our best to sort this out for you.
