The 'Silk Road Cushion' is the beautiful project for Marie's 'Fairisle in the Dales' Workshop & Walking holiday in November 2025. We are now making this glorious design available for a weekend workshop next year at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh.
The cushion is knitted flat using 18 colours of British Breeds which include the 4 new colours, Cave, Citrine, Oat and Twilight! The design is worked in sections, knitted off from each other and Sections 2 and 3 have a third colour and this is achieved by 'Swiss' darning rather than knitting 3 colours in a row!
