The Tarn Tam is a great Fairisle tam for both women and men from the Cumbria collection. It is knitted in the round using 11 colours. The Tarn Tam is available in two kits: Raw and Silver Birch. 

If you wish to make two tams of the same colour, and extra then add 1 ball of Raw or 1 ball of Silver Birch to your order.

Each kit includes 11 x 25g balls of Marie Wallin British Breeds yarn together with the detailed high quality printed pattern for the Tarn Tam in two sizes - all presented in a lovely Marie Wallin calico garment kit bag.

Please note that there is enough yarn in each kit to knit two tams if an extra ball of Raw or Silver Birch is added to the order.

Included in the price is a downloadable PDF version of the book or kit, so that you can enlarge the charts without having to spoil the printed book or kit pattern. The download link is sent by email once your order has been shipped.

The finished measurements of the tam are: 53 – 56 cm (20.75 – 22 in) and 59 – 62 cm (23.25 – 24.5 in).
