The TREE OF LIFE throw is a beautiful design inspired by motifs found in antique textiles, carpets and kilims from India and the Far East. It has also been inspired by Marie's love of trees and the symbolism of trees in cultural art across the world. Although it is called a throw, it would look amazing hung as a wall hanging or work of art!
It is knitted using 26 colours of British Breeds and uses several different knitting techniques, including knitting Fairisle flat, increasing and deceasing stitches, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, 3 needle bind off and mattress stitch.
Available only to Fairisle Club members. To join the Fairisle Club, you need to book Fairisle Club 11 later next year. Once you have joined, you are then able to buy any of the previous projects by contacting us for a price list.
